Bhaktivedanta Book Trust (‘BBT’) is a public and charitable trust established by way of Deed of Trust dated 30.03.1972 by His Divine Grace A. C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada (‘Srila Prabhupada’). BBT is primarily engaged in printing, publishing and distributing books, writings and speeches of Srila Prabhupada, Founder and Acarya of International Society for Krishna Consciousness (‘ISKCON’).

Our client is the exclusive copyright owner of the works of Srila Prabhupada, which includes 521 literary books. Our client is also the exclusive owner of many artistic works and sound recordings including 605 audio books.

The copyrighted books of BBT are sold exclusively through ISKCON Temples and its authorised channel partners. Recently, it has come to the notice of BBT that its copyrighted works are being sold by certain third parties without authorisation. The list of ISKCON temples and the authorised channel partners are enlisted on the website www.transcendstore.com. Public is hereby put on notice that BBT will not be responsible in any manner for sale, distribution or marketing by any other entities/individuals. Any unauthorized sale, distribution, promotion and/or reproduction of copyrighted works of BBT, in any form/medium/platform, amounts to infringement, and is punishable under law. An earnest request is also made by way of this notice to the public to kindly report any such unauthorised sale, distribution or marketing of its copyrighted works.
