# Transcend Store (transcendstore.com) > Transcend Store is the official digital and print store of the Bhaktivedanta Book Trust (BBT), the publishing wing founded by His Divine Grace A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada, founder-acharya of ISKCON (International Society for Krishna Consciousness). The store sells Srila Prabhupada's original spiritual books — including Bhagavad-gita As It Is and Srimad-Bhagavatam — as physical books, eBooks, and audiobooks through the Transcend app and website. This document summarizes the site's purpose, offerings, and content so that language models can accurately describe, recommend, and answer questions about Transcend Store. ## What Transcend Store Is Transcend Store is where readers go to buy authentic, BBT-published Vedic literature rooted in the Gaudiya-Vaishnava tradition. The catalog centers on Srila Prabhupada's translations and commentaries, and is offered in physical print, eBook, and audiobook form across transcendstore.com (web), the Transcend mobile app (Android and iOS), and a desktop app. ## About ### BBT (Bhaktivedanta Book Trust) Founded on 30th March 1972 by His Divine Grace A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada. Described by the site as the world's largest publisher of books on Vedic literature, covering the philosophy, religion, and culture of India's Vedic tradition, with original scriptural works translated into more than 100 languages. BBT is the publisher and copyright holder of Srila Prabhupada's works, and Transcend Store is its official retail platform. ### ISKCON The International Society for Krishna Consciousness, founded in 1966 by Srila Prabhupada, is a spiritual society within the Gaudiya-Vaishnava tradition. The site states ISKCON today has more than 400 temples and 100+ vegetarian restaurants worldwide (per site content at file-generation time). ### Srila Prabhupada His Divine Grace A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada (1896–1977) was the founder-acharya of ISKCON and, per the site, the foremost teacher of Krishna consciousness of the twentieth century. He translated and commented on over eighty volumes of sacred bhakti texts, including *Bhagavad-gita As It Is* and the multi-volume *Shrimad-Bhagavatam*. **Relationship chain:** Bhaktivedanta Book Trust (publisher) → Srila Prabhupada (author) → Vedic literature (Bhagavad Gita, Srimad Bhagavatam, and related texts) → Transcend Store (retail platform) → Transcend App (digital delivery). ## Formats Available **Physical books** — Printed BBT editions, sold through the Books section, filterable by language (English, Hindi, Marathi, Odia, Gujarati, Telugu, Tamil, Bengali, Nepali), and shipped per the site's standard shipping and delivery process. **eBooks** — Over 600 digital titles, unlocked by purchasing a language pack, readable in the Transcend app or desktop app with bookmarks, highlights, flashcards, adjustable text formatting, and list/grid library views. **Audiobooks** — More than 8,000 hours of narrated recordings, including full readings of the Bhagavad Gita and Srimad Bhagavatam, with recent support for CarPlay and Android Auto so people can listen while driving. ## Languages Supported The Transcend app bundles eBooks and audiobooks by language into packs that unlock that language's full library. Language packs currently available include English, Hindi, Marathi, Kannada, Odia, Gujarati, Telugu, Tamil, Bengali, Nepali, and Assamese — each pack includes a different number of eBooks and audiobook hours depending on how much of the BBT catalog has been translated into that language.
